San Gabriel Police Department will again collaborate with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) by taking back unwanted drugs on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 to 2 p.m.
The public is being asked to bring pills for disposal to the San Gabriel Police Department at 625 South Del Mar Avenue, San Gabriel, CA 91776. The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches. The service is free and anonymous; no questions asked.
People are asked not to dispose of unused medicines by flushing them down the toilet or throwing them in the trash, because both pose potential safety and health hazards.
